Join us for a two-week discussion on “Living Like God Is Real”. We’ll examine our walks with God through reflective questions grounded in Scripture, while building each other up through shared testimony and accountability.
Theme: Are you living and thinking like God is real—every day?
Hebrews 11:6 — Living by faith
Isaiah 26:3 — Fixing your mind on God
Proverbs 9:10 — Fearing (revering) God
Do I live and act like God truly exists in my daily choices?
➤ When was a time you acted like God was truly watching and involved?
➤ When did you forget or ignore that reality?
Do I revere God in a way that changes how I live?
➤ What does “fear of the Lord” look like in real life for you?
Where are my thoughts most of the day—on God or on myself?
➤ Are you training your mind to return to Him when distracted?
Do I consult the Spirit (that still small voice) in my decision-making?
➤ Can you share an experience where the Spirit guided you in a hard moment?
Where have you excelled in these areas?
➤ What helped you grow? (e.g., discipline, mentorship, quiet time, trials)
Where have you faltered?
➤ What might be the reason? (e.g., pride, distraction, fear, sin, lack of accountability)
Practice pausing daily to invite the Spirit to speak.
Journal or voice-record moments where your thoughts turned toward God—or away from Him.
Theme: Living in your identity as a temple, a new creation, and a man who reflects God’s love.
2 Corinthians 5:17 — New creation identity
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 — Your body is a temple
John 14:15 — Loving God through obedience
Matthew 5:16 — Being a visible light to others
Psalm 119:11 — Memorizing and living Scripture
Do I live with the daily awareness that I am a new creation in Christ?
➤ Share how this has shaped your choices—or where you’ve forgotten it.
Do I remember that I am God’s temple and that His Spirit dwells in me?
➤ How has this truth affected your view of your body, your habits, or your time?
Am I memorizing Scripture and letting it guide my first thoughts in difficulty?
➤ Which verses have changed your mindset or kept you from falling?
Do my actions reflect love for God—consistently?
➤ What do your kids, coworkers, or neighbors see in your life?
Is my love for God evident to believers and non-believers alike?
➤ Share a moment when your faith was clearly visible—or not.
Where have you grown strong in these areas?
➤ What habits or influences helped you?
Where are you still weak or inconsistent?
➤ What are possible root causes? (e.g., past wounds, lack of community, busyness, spiritual laziness)
Pick one verse to memorize and meditate on daily. Let it be your mental “go-to” in moments of weakness.
Ask someone in the group to check in with you mid-week to share how you’re doing.
